The 10^th Annual Salute to Educators is scheduled for Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at the Ames High School Cafeteria. The luncheon celebrates the value of our area educators from Ames, Gilbert, and United Community Schools.

Please consider showing your support by sponsoring the event, providing in-kind donations or goodie bag materials.

Corporate Sponsor $2,000

• Company name listed as “Corporate Sponsor” on all promotional materials, advertising, and signage.
• Company name included in event title.
• Opportunity to have company banner or sign displayed at event.
• Opportunity to include promotional brochures/information in “goodie” bags that are distributed to each attendee.
• 6 company representatives are invited to attend the event and enjoy lunch with area educators.

NEW! Joint Sponsorship Package with Salute to Educators & Youth Leadership Ames (YLA)

• Sign up for a Salute to Educators sponsorship at any level AND sign up to sponsor an area youth in the new 2010-2011 Ames Chamber Youth for Leadership (YLA) Program and receive a 10% discount on your Youth Leadership Ames sponsorship! (YLA sponsorship regularly $330, and will be $300 with joint sponsorship package!)
• Youth Leadership Ames (YLA) is designed to develop the community leadership potential of area high school students in the Chamber member school districts. Youth Leadership Ames (YLA) is a joint program between the Ames Chamber Education Connections Committee and Young Professionals of Ames.

Goodie bags will be given to 750 educators, administrators, and staff at the Ames, Gilbert, United, and Ballard school districts as well as the private schools in Ames. Chamber businesses can provide items to be included in the bags such as pens, pencils, notepads, rulers, markers, tape, post-it notes, etc.
Volunteers are need both the week before the event and on-site the day of the event. Responsibilities include stuffing goodie bags, set-up/clean-up, and serving at the event. You can sign up to volunteer for a few hours or for the full event.
